How do you feel after completing this project ?

It feels so great that finally we have completed with this assignment as it was the toughest among all. The most of all, we completed together as a group though there we ups and downs. As far as i know, I did my very best from the 3rd week onwards till the last. Due to some personal issues, I was lacking in the begining but I'm happy that I manage to get back on track.

 

How do you feel about the film? Are you satified with the finishing product?

In my point of view this film had a very good and unique story. I felt contented that my director and co-director came up with this story. Well of course not, it also depends on how we are pulling it off in our roles. The finishing product wasn't too bad but I think we could have done way better. Though we had 3 months to complete it but we were running out of time. We had to considerate on other 6 subjects too.

 

What are the challenges you faced during the production?

I was playing the role of a cult leader (atrocious). I have to act really stern and villainous. In person, I'm a happy go lucky kid and jovial unless if i get furious. So, with no choice I still got to put that sort of charecteristic within me. We re-shoot many times because i couldn't achieve what I suppose to. In between, I kept on laughing and giggling and making fun of my mistakes. It sounded easy in the beginning but as when I got down to it, it was way too much to handle.

 

How could you have made this better? 

I guess troughout wasn't that bad for my part but in 2 scenes i know i were lacking. It wasn't natural , the sense that I'm not feeling it. One was the part that I were talking to Jun as he wanted to leave the cult and another was my fighting scene with Jocylyn. The figting scene was too soft ( not much strength can be seen ). It was so difficult to  act as if I were hitting her hardly and torturing inadequately. MEanwhile, I couldnt really concentrate as I were fighting and my words were slipping off. 

 

What have you learnt from this class/filming process ?

I've learnt alot as It was a new experience to me. Acting in high school drama's were different compare to acting infront of the camera. It was a really good experience to me. Though it was just a short film, i gained basic knowledge on filming and some tricks used during fiming as well the understanding of "NOIR". This subject has teach me things that I don't even know. I thought i will not make it trough as it seems so dificult to understand what it actually means.. But with the help of my lecturer and fellow classmates, I made trough. To me, it was a huge sucess & accomplishment. Well, I guess this is guess the beginning.
