The philosophy of -The Eye in the movie Now You See Me which is released this year 2013.
Why story of Hamlet ?
Because it inspires me of using the theme 'revenge' as the main collar bone of the story flow.
Ghost, perverse family drama, and a vow of revenge. Hamlet is all geared up to be a traditional bloody revenge play and then it grinds abruptly towards halt. The play isnt about Hamlets ultimately successful vengeance for his fathers murder at all - that is taken care of in about two seconds during act5. Instead, most of the play is concerned with Hamlets inner struggle to take action. My point ? The play is alot more interested in calling into question the validity and usefulness of revenge than in satisfying the audience bloodlust. :- Although sure, it does that too.
How does it connect to our story ?
- It happens because of the promise-breaking of the male soul leader.

* the revenge planned by the female soul leader
* murder of the wife of the male leader.
* tormenting memories implanted in the mind of the character.
* the avenge of the main character towards the female leader.

Design outfit for the characters
According to our story and the theme of it, the best outfit to go along is ancient sort of clothings, maybe ?
So we took reference on the White American artist , Kirby Sattler and Medieval Times clothings ! Why Kirby Sattler ? Cause his paintings were all about the American Natives which also known as red indians. For men, breechclouts or breechcloths (a long rectangular piece of hide or cloth tucked over a belt, so that the flaps fell down in front and behind). For ladies, skirts and leggings, though the length, design, and material of the skirts varied from tribe to tribe or one-piece American Indian dresses.
Medieval times- 15th century, western roman empire! During the history of mankind, fashion was always the subject of controversy and Medieval fashion followed the rule . - did not like the luxury in daily life, used to make the most significant display & etc !

Movie Referencing
While doing referencing, it may keep going on none stop but there is always one particular theme or movie which will be selected or almost close to what we are doing. And that will be definitely Hamlet !
In the play of Prince Denmark, Prince Hamlet was encountered by Ghost, who was revealed as his dead father. Ghost told Hamlet how he was killed by him brother, King CLaudius. The murder of his father and the remarriage of his mother to his uncle rekindles to the fire of revenge inside Hamlet. Hamlet decided to re-enact the murder scene of his father with the production of The Murder of Gonzago, in Hamlets word, 'the play's the thing wherein i'll catch the conscience of the king.' In the midst of the play the King was agitated and this confirmed that he was a guilty man he then planned to murder his king uncle while the King was praying, but did not. Instead, Hamlet killed polonius , and for that he was banished to England. He secretly came back to Denmark, had a sword fight with son Polonius, Laertes. Meanwhile, Hamlets mother Queen Gertrude unconsciously drank the poison wine prepared by the King to kill Hamlet. Laertes confessed about the queen before he died. Hamlet than stabbed King Claudius and force him to drink the poison wine. He then died from the wound receive during the fight.
Base on the research that Ive done, quite a number of them hand use the base of the movie Hamlet into their work piece. Besides, in everyday in English as well !

Design reference for the film ?
The low key lighting schemes of many classic film noirs are associated with stark lights or dark contrast and dramatic shadow patterning. A style known as chiaroscuro ( a term adopted from Renaissance painting ) The shadow of venetian blinds or banister rods, cast upon an actor, a wall or an entire set are an iconic visual in noir and had already become a cliche well before the neo-noir are. Characters faces may be partially or wholly obscured by darkness- a relative rarity in conventional Hollywood filmmaking.

Contextual Definition
A revenge killer is someone who kills at least one person out of revenge. This term is available to any offender pathology. A common motive for murder , be it serial or non-serial, would be a revenge for wrongdoing !
The picture on the left shows the symbol of the ''soluer''. Each part of the symbol has its own meaning and I will describe them in a simpler form of understanding.
- The circle with the dot in the middle represents the soul because it resembles 'zygote.' Zygote is the form of life in every living being.
- The circle with the dot as well the vertical curve represents an external element that can influence , manipulate or even absorb the soul.

A typical souler :- When ever they are using their ability, the symbol on their forehead glows and the colour of the eye changes into purple.
What souler are about :- They belive that once their follower join the cult, their sins or bad memories will be removed. In other words, the soul will reborn or rebirth.
Well the truth behind this is, the leaders will absorb the soul as well their knowledge and memories will be transfered.
How does this work ?
The leader X (female) and Y (male) must be married to each other as well have sexual intercourse to ensure superior gene is passed down (pure souler). They must also be soulers ! The male leader must always be the offspring of the female leader. Besides, they must own two different Talisman and share the holy book - Souler.

Though being absent for previous class discussion, my group members took the initiative to explain again what our lecturer point out on our mistakes and changes that should be made! The story is now upgraded and enhanced with more details and information.
So, the story is about two clan leaders revenge on each other which involves the generation that follows. The story had been sorted out in the slde on the right in a very basic explanation :-
This is just the bone of our main story. Our story cult was all about Soul. The secret clan which appears in the story was called the ''Souler''. Due to that we had discussed and decided to name our story 'Souler'. Moreover, according to our lecturer, it wouldnt be a direct message or a clear point of view that people will not relate 'Souler' with 'Revenge' since it was the theme of our story.
Manifesto of the cult
1) There are 3 states of being :-

*Completion
2) Accept that everything is formulated
3) There is no editing stage or refining.
4) Pretending you know what you're doing, so just accept that you know what you're doing even if you dont and do it.
5) Banish procrastination. If you wait more that a week to get an idea done, just abandon it.
6) The point of being done is not to finish but to get other things done.
7) Laugh at perfection. It's uninteresting and keeps you from being done.
8) Nothing is even worth saving, preservation is a fruitless endeavour.
9) Doing something makes you fair or just ! People without dirty hands are incorrect.
10) Failure counts as done are finished . So why not just do mistakes .
